The Emboabas War happened when Northeast people, portuguese people and people from some other parts of Brazil started to come in masses to Minas Gerais hence the gold discovered there, but the Paulista Bandeirantes (from São Paulo) were there before and would use all their braveness to protect their territories. The melody is a version for the medieval song "Santa Maria, Strela do Dia" composed by the King Afonso X of Castela and Leão.
